BNP Paribas Open Marketing Video Receives Telly Award

The BNP Paribas Open, along with Oliphant Productions, has received a Bronze Telly Award for its 30 second commercial, the “Place To Be in March.” The video, which features international superstars Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, and many more, showcases why the tournament annually draws more than 330,000 people to Indian Wells each March.

The 31st annual Telly Awards, which honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, received over 11,000 entries from all 50 states and many foreign countries.

Oliphant Productions, Inc., a La Quinta-based award winning entertainment content producer, worked with the BNP Paribas Open to deliver a HD-quality commercial that allowed the tournament to effectively convey the excitement of the event to fans. In 2007, Producer Rich Oliphant provided the production expertise, to create a BNP Paribas Open marketing video that also won a Bronze Telly Award.
