2012 Senior Cup and Tri-Level Championships Announced

The BNP Paribas Open, an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and WTA Premier tennis tournament, to be held March 5-18, 2012 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, will hold the 19th annual BNP Paribas Open Senior Cup, which features more than 700 players in a team tennis doubles tournament, from March 19-22, 2012.

The BNP Paribas Open Senior Cup, which features men’s and women’s divisions in senior (50+) and super senior (60+) age categories, will take place at more than 120 courts within a five-mile radius and culminate in the finals to be held March 22 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The entry fee is $200.00 per player and includes a ticket to the 2012 BNP Paribas Open finals on Sunday, March 18 as well as continental breakfast on Monday, March 19, and the player reception and dinner on Wednesday, March 21.

Additionally, the BNP Paribas Open Tri-Level Championships return for the sixth year, giving 17 USTA Sections the opportunity to send a team to compete in an amateur doubles tournament over the final weekend of the BNP Paribas Open. Each team is comprised of a minimum of 12 players (six women and six men) providing for one doubles team per gender in the 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 ability levels.
