The BNP Paribas Open, the largest WTA and ATP World Tour combined two-week event in the world, to be held March 9-22, 2015 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, presented donations on Tuesday to the Eisenhower Schnitzer/Novack Breast Center at Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center and the Desert Cancer Foundation. The tournament raised more than $11,000 through money raised from ticket sales during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“The BNP Paribas Open is proud to contribute to the fight against breast cancer,” said Simon. “Breast cancer has affected so many people, as well as many within the world of tennis, and this is a way that we can raise awareness and contribute to battle against this disease.”
